






The ton bag fertilizer packaging machine is a large-scale weighing and packaging unit that integrates electronic weighing, automatic bag release, and dust removal; it is specifically designed for packaging materials in 500—2,000 kg ton bags. While primarily serving manufacturers of chemical, organic, and compound fertilizers, it is also widely used in industries such as chemicals, construction materials, grain, animal feed, and minerals.
The workflow of a ton bag fertilizer packaging machine can generally be divided into the following steps:
Pre-packaging preparation: The operator places an empty pallet in the packaging position beneath the weighing platform.
Bag attachment: After the start button is pressed, the bag-clamping mechanism automatically grips the filling opening of the bag to seal it, and the lifting frame automatically rises to the appropriate packaging position.
Taring: The packaging machine automatically deducts the weight of the empty bag.
Fast filling: The machine activates the feeding mechanism for rapid filling. The weighing instrument continuously monitors the material weight; once the preset fast-fill threshold is reached, the fast-filling phase ends.
Slow filling: The system switches to slow-filling mode for precise top-up feeding; the filling process concludes when the material weight reaches the target value.
Bag release and conveying: Once filling is complete, the bag-suspension hooks automatically release and the clamping mechanism opens; the filled bag drops onto the pallet and is transported away from the packaging station.
Throughout the entire process—from bag clamping, fast and slow filling, and reaching the target weight to bag release and conveying—most stages are automated.
Utilizing high-precision load cells and dynamic correction algorithms, the system supports the quantitative packaging of various materials, including granules, powders, and blends. Multi-stage feeding control ensures consistent bag weight, preventing waste from overfilling or disputes arising from underfilling.
Fully automated models integrate bag feeding, weighing, filling, and sealing into a single unit, requiring no manual intervention from the initial bag pickup to the discharge of the finished product. A single machine requires only 1—2 operators for support.
The system accommodates various fertilizer forms, such as granules (compound fertilizer, urea) and powders (organic fertilizer, phosphate powder). Packaging specifications are adjustable within the 500-2,000 kg range, and product changeovers do not require replacing major components.
A fully enclosed filling process combined with efficient dust removal significantly reduces dust concentration in the workshop. Components in contact with the fertilizer are made of 304L stainless steel, while wear-prone parts feature wear-resistant coatings to withstand the corrosive and abrasive nature of the fertilizer.
