A granular fertilizer packaging machine is an automated device specifically designed for the quantitative bagging of granular fertilizers. In simple terms, it processes bulk materials—such as organic fertilizer granules, compound fertilizers, and blended fertilizers—into finished bags of uniform weight. Once processed by the machine, the bagged fertilizer features consistent specifications and neat stacking, facilitating easier transport and sales.

Structurally, a typical granular fertilizer packaging machine consists of a scale assembly, a weighing hopper, a feeder, a discharge hopper, a pneumatic bag clamp, sensors, a weighing control instrument, and an electronic control system.

Operational Process of the Granular Fertilizer Packaging Machine

The operation of the granular fertilizer packaging machine is coordinated by a control system. Upon startup, the dosing controller automatically resets to zero and activates the feeding mechanism to supply material into the weighing hopper. As material enters the hopper, load cells convert the weight into electrical signals transmitted to the controller, which displays the real-time weight on the control panel.

The feeding process typically employs a two-stage approach—fast feeding initially to maximize efficiency, followed by a switch to slow, fine-tuned feeding as the target weight is approached to ensure accuracy. Once the preset weight is reached, feeding stops, the pneumatic bag-clamping device secures the packaging bag, and the hopper discharge gate opens, allowing the material to fall into the bag under gravity. After filling is complete, the discharge gate closes, the clamping mechanism releases, the bag is automatically discharged, and the work cycle concludes.
