The powdered fertilizer packaging machine is a fully automatic, quantitative packaging system specifically developed to handle the characteristics of powdered materials in the fertilizer industry. It integrates automatic bag making, auger metering, automatic filling, precision sealing, intelligent coding, and finished product conveying, enabling a completely unmanned packaging process that transforms bulk powder into finished, bagged products.
This equipment is specifically designed for powdered fertilizers—such as organic fertilizer powder, compound fertilizer powder, soil conditioners, and water-soluble fertilizer powder—that are prone to dusting, have poor flowability, and are hygroscopic, thereby meeting the demands of large-scale, standardized agricultural chemical production.
The workflow of a powdered fertilizer packaging machine typically involves the following stages:
Automatic Bag Feeding: Vacuum suction cups automatically retrieve bags from the magazine, open them, and place them onto the discharge spout; photoelectric sensors confirm positioning before the process moves to the next stage.
Precision Dosing: This is the core function of the equipment. Powdered fertilizer packaging machines typically utilize either auger dosing or weighing-based dosing technologies. In auger dosing, a servo motor drives a screw mechanism to achieve quantitative filling, with accuracy reaching ±0.1% to ±0.2%. High-end models employ a “pre-feed plus top-up feed” dual-speed mode—rapidly filling to 90% of the target weight and then slowly topping up to the precise value—to effectively prevent overshoot errors. Weighing-based dosing achieves precision control through high-accuracy load cells combined with a three-stage feeding process (fast/medium/slow) and PID dynamic compensation.
Automatic Filling: To address the tendency of fertilizer powder to clump or bridge, an anti-bridging auger design with a large pitch is used to ensure uniform and stable discharge. For ultra-fine powders, some models utilize a bottom-filling auger structure with degassing capabilities, effectively solving issues where trapped air causes package expansion or rupture.
Sealing and Dust Removal: An independent dual-circuit constant-temperature sealing system is used; it is compatible with the thick films and composite materials commonly used for fertilizer packaging, ensuring secure, leak-proof seals. The machine operates in a fully enclosed environment and is equipped with a negative-pressure dust extraction port to effectively control dust emissions.
Finished Product Discharge: Once sealed, the product is automatically conveyed to the next stage and can be integrated with palletizing equipment to form a complete production line.
The entire system is centrally managed by an intelligent PLC controller, supporting the storage of multiple recipes and one-touch switching to enable flexible production.
High precision and low loss: Utilizing dynamic weighing compensation technology, the system makes real-time adjustments to account for the uneven bulk density of powdered fertilizers; this minimizes measurement errors and significantly reduces material waste. Some models achieve packaging precision within the range of ±0.1% to ±0.2%.
Stable operation and low failure rate: The machine features a mature structural design, with material-contact parts made of heavy-gauge stainless steel that resists corrosion from acidic or alkaline fertilizers and withstands high-dust, high-humidity environments.
Labor savings and increased efficiency: The packaging process is fully automated, requiring only one person to assist with product collection.
Versatility and strong adaptability: The machine handles various materials—such as ultra-fine water-soluble fertilizers, coarse organic fertilizer powders, and blended fertilizer powders—with quick and easy specification changes. Its PLC control system stores multiple recipes, eliminating the need for repeated recalibration when switching specifications.
