Pig Manure Organic Fertilizer Production Line

2026/10/31

As large-scale livestock farming has rapidly expanded, the management of pig manure has remained a persistent challenge for farms. Indiscriminate piling of manure not only creates foul odors and pollutes soil and water, but also facilitates the spread of pathogens. A pig manure organic fertilizer production line transforms this waste into a valuable resource, establishing a circular "livestock farming — waste treatment — land application" loop—an ideal solution for modern ecological agriculture.

The production line features a comprehensive suite of equipment, centered on a high-temperature aerobic fermentation process with a highly integrated workflow. Fresh pig manure is first processed through a solid-liquid separator to reduce its moisture content. It is then mixed with additives such as straw or sawdust—precisely proportioned by an automated system to achieve an optimal carbon-to-nitrogen ratio—and fed into fermentation tanks. A windrow compost turner continuously aerates the material, maintaining a high-temperature fermentation environment (55°C to 70°C) for over ten days. This process effectively eliminates parasite eggs and pathogens, neutralizes odors, and ensures thorough, harmless decomposition, converting foul-smelling waste into a loose, brown, fully composted organic base.
Following decomposition, the material undergoes further processing: a half-wet material crusher breaks up any clumps, and a horizontal ribbon mixer allows for the precise addition of beneficial microbes and essential micronutrients. The mixture is then fed into granulation equipment—such as a disc granulator or a new type organic fertilizer granulator—to produce uniform organic fertilizer granules. These granules pass through a drum dryer and a drum cooler to regulate moisture and temperature, before being sorted by a drum screen. Any material that does not meet specifications is returned for reprocessing, while the final, high-quality product is bagged by an automated packaging system. The entire process is linked by belt conveyors, ensuring high efficiency with minimal labor requirements.
Using organic fertilizer derived from pig manure helps improve compacted soil, increases organic matter content, and enhances the soil's ability to retain water and nutrients. Compared to synthetic chemical fertilizers, it offers a gradual release of nutrients, helping to mitigate issues like soil acidification and the degradation of soil fertility—common consequences of excessive chemical fertilizer use—while ultimately improving the quality of fruits, vegetables, and grain crops. For livestock farms, establishing an in-house production line offers a solution to the challenge of manure disposal while mitigating environmental compliance risks. Furthermore, the organic fertilizer produced can be sold externally, generating additional revenue and achieving a win-win outcome that balances environmental and economic benefits.
Huaqiang Heavy Industry provides customized production line solutions tailored to the scale of a pig farm and its specific site conditions—offering compact systems suitable for family-run farms, as well as comprehensive, large-scale equipment for industrial-level livestock operations. As the transition toward "green" agriculture continues, organic fertilizer production lines—derived from pig manure—have evolved beyond mere environmental compliance tools; they now serve as a vital hub within integrated crop-livestock circular systems. This facilitates the synergistic development of cleaner livestock farming and organic crop cultivation, laying a solid foundation for the sustainable advancement of the agricultural sector.
