The working principle of a fertilizer vibration screener machine is straightforward: a vibrating motor drives the screen box to generate regular vibrations, causing the material on the screen surface to undergo three simultaneous actions—layering, passing through the mesh, and conveying.
Two vibrating motors are installed in a counter-rotating configuration; during operation, they generate opposing exciting forces that cancel each other out along the axis of the motors but combine in the direction perpendicular to the axis, resulting in a linear vibration trajectory. Material on the screen surface is continuously tossed upward while moving forward in a straight line; smaller particles pass through the mesh to the lower level, while larger particles continue along the screen surface, with both fractions eventually discharging through their respective outlets.

Drum screeners perform screening through the low-speed rotation of a cylindrical drum; they operate smoothly, generate low noise, and are resistant to mesh clogging, making them more suitable for the preliminary and coarse screening of wet materials. Their drawbacks include relatively lower screening precision and a larger footprint.
