The new type two in one organic fertilizer granulator is a combined granulation unit newly developed by Zhengzhou Huaqiang Heavy Industry Technology Co., Ltd. (Brand: Huaqiang). Designed and manufactured using a novel continuous wet-process granulation technique, the equipment utilizes high-speed mechanical agitation and the resulting friction to continuously process fine powdery materials——mixing, granulating, spheroidizing, densifying, and polishing them——to achieve the desired granulation.

Unlike traditional single-function granulators, this new type two in one model integrates the advantages of both stirring-tooth granulation and rotary drum granulation, enabling an all-in-one process that encompasses mixing, granulation, spheroidizing, densification, and polishing. The equipment features a scientifically sound and rational structure, comprising a uniform feeding section, primary and secondary granulation stages, a drive system, a discharge hopper, and a protective housing. It is available in two versions—a small mobile model and a medium-sized stationary model——and requires no complex installation; it simply needs to be placed on a level surface and connected to a power supply to begin commissioning and operation.

How does the new type two in one organic fertilizer granulator work?

The working principle of this new type two in one organic fertilizer granulator can be summarized as “single-step feeding and integrated forming” Raw materials enter the machine through an inlet at one end; a granulating rotor continuously pushes the material, creating mechanical interaction with the casing to achieve granulation, and the finished granules are discharged from the opposite end. The rotor is driven by a motor and gearbox assembly; the drive unit and the main body are mounted on a single frame, ensuring a rational structure, stable operation, and ease of installation.

The process consists of two specific stages:

Nucleation via Agitating Pins

Pre-treated organic raw materials enter the initial section featuring agitating pins. High-speed rotating pins subject the material to intense shearing, kneading, and tossing. Leveraging the inherent adhesiveness of the organic matter and liquid bridges formed by trace free moisture, fine powders rapidly aggregate into spherical nuclei and grow into near-spherical particles.

Rounding and Polishing

The nascent granules then enter the subsequent rounding section (consisting of a low-speed rotating smooth drum or curved plate assembly). Under the influence of centrifugal force and friction, they are further rounded, compacted, and surface-polished to eliminate sharp edges. Finally, spherical granules are discharged; they achieve a roundness comparable to that of disc granulation but require no added clay.

The entire process requires no added binders, relying instead on the ability of organic particles to interlock and grow under applied forces to achieve natural granulation. The temperature rise during granulation is controllable; the discharged material typically remains at or below 40–50°C, which helps preserve organic nutrients.

What are the application scenarios for the new type two in one organic fertilizer granulator?

The new type two in one organic fertilizer granulator offers a wide range of applications, precisely covering the entire organic fertilizer production chain:

Large-scale organic fertilizer plants——Seamlessly integrates into production lines, connecting with crushing, fermentation, and packaging equipment to achieve standardized, integrated production.

Livestock and poultry farms —— Processes waste (such as manure) on-site into high-quality organic fertilizer, turning waste into a valuable resource.

Agricultural workshops and family farms —— Compact models offer manageable costs and portability, making them suitable for small-batch, diverse, and customized production.

Environmental resource recovery —— Processes waste such as municipal sludge and kitchen refuse into granular organic fertilizer, facilitating harmless disposal and resource utilization.

Compound fertilizer granule production —— Expands product offerings to include the production of organic-inorganic compound fertilizers.

What are the advantages of the new type two in one organic fertilizer granulator?

Dual-function design, streamlined process

The new type two in one organic fertilizer granulator combines the advantages of both stirring-tooth and rotary drum granulation, effectively performing the work of two granulators simultaneously without the need for additional equipment. It condenses the traditional two-step process of “mixing + granulation” into a single step, boosting production efficiency by over 40%. The total machine length is 30%-40% shorter than a tandem setup of a stirring-tooth granulator and a rounding machine, resulting in reduced workshop height requirements and lower installed power.

Broad adaptability and high material tolerance

TThe new type two in one organic fertilizer granulator can process a wide range of organic raw materials——such as livestock and poultry manure, crop stalks, spent mushroom substrate, humus soil, and municipal sludge—and is particularly well-suited for coarse-fiber materials that are difficult to granulate using conventional equipment, such as crop stalks, distillers' grains, spent mushroom substrate, and herbal residues. It also delivers excellent granulation results for materials like humic acid and municipal sludge. It accommodates a wide range of moisture content (30%-50%), eliminating the need for pre-drying.

High pelletization rate and superior granule quality

The overall pelletization rate reaches 90%-93%, typically exceeding that of a standalone stirring-tooth granulator by 3%-8%. The granules are uniformly spherical with smooth surfaces and high strength; they exhibit minimal dusting and a granulation uniformity of over 96%. With a sphericity of ≥0.85, the granules closely resemble perfect spheres. Pure organic fertilizer can be produced without inert binders, allowing for an organic matter content of up to 100%.
