The role and precautions of belt conveyors in organic fertilizer production lines

2025/07/17

In organic fertilizer production lines, material transmission runs through the entire process, from raw materials such as straw and livestock and poultry manure to decomposed semi-finished products and then to the final granular finished products. The belt conveyor is the key to connecting equipment such as fermentation compost turners, granulators, dryers, and screening machines in series.

The belt conveyor has strong adaptability and can cope with various material characteristics in organic fertilizer production. When processing straw fragments crushed by a crusher, the anti-slip texture design on the surface of the conveyor belt can increase friction, prevent materials from slipping during transmission, and reduce waste; the crushed material is conveyed to the screening machine by the belt conveyor, and the smooth operation of the conveyor belt can improve the screening effect; when conveying materials to the new type organic fertilizer granulator, the amount of material entering the granulator can be accurately controlled by adjusting the running speed of the conveyor belt, making the granulation process more stable; the material transmitted to the dryer can effectively prevent external impurities from mixing in under the protection of the closed baffle structure. It connects various equipment to form a continuous production flow, greatly reducing material loss compared to traditional manual transportation, and significantly improving the production line capacity.
Note when using: Select the transmission speed according to the humidity of the material. Wet materials should be slow to avoid accumulation due to insufficient gravity. Dry materials can be appropriately accelerated to improve transmission efficiency; check the tension of the conveyor belt before starting the machine every day. Too loose will cause slipping, and too tight will increase equipment wear. Ensure accurate docking with the feed port of granulators, screening machines and other equipment; After conveying straw materials, use a brush to carefully clean the edge of the conveyor belt to prevent coarse fibers from wrapping around the roller and affecting the normal operation of the equipment; add special lubricating oil to the transmission bearing every week to reduce friction between components, ensure smooth operation of the equipment and extend its service life.
At a time when organic fertilizer production pursues high efficiency, environmental protection and stability, the belt conveyor, with its strong adaptability and reliable transmission capacity, provides a solid guarantee for the smooth operation of the production line.
