Overview of Organic Fertilizer Production Line

2026/04/24

An organic fertilizer production line is a systematic production system integrating the harmless treatment and resource utilization of organic waste. Through standardized and automated processes, it transforms organic waste such as livestock and poultry manure, crop straw, and kitchen waste into high-quality organic fertilizer. It is core equipment for promoting a circular economy in agriculture and supporting the development of green agriculture. Its core objective is to "turn waste into treasure," solving the problem of organic waste pollution while providing efficient and environmentally friendly fertilizer for agricultural production, thus balancing economic and ecological benefits.

The entire organic fertilizer production line process is interconnected, mainly covering four core stages: pretreatment, fermentation and composting, deep processing, and packaging. The pretreatment stage uses equipment such as crushing, screening, and dehydration to remove impurities from the raw materials and adjust the moisture and carbon-nitrogen ratio, laying the foundation for subsequent fermentation. Fermentation and maturation, the core step, employs high-temperature aerobic fermentation technology. Temperatures are controlled at 55-70℃ using fermentation tanks or compost turning machines to kill pathogens and insect eggs, ensuring thorough decomposition of the organic material, significantly shortening the cycle compared to traditional composting. The deep processing stage involves granulation, drying, cooling, and screening to process the matured material into granular or powdered organic fertilizer, improving product appearance and stability. Finally, automated packaging equipment completes quantitative packaging for easy storage, transportation, and sales.
The equipment configuration of the production line can be flexibly adjusted according to production scale. Small production lines mainly use basic equipment to meet the needs of individual users or small processing plants; large production lines are equipped with intelligent equipment, using sensors to control process parameters in real time, achieving highly efficient automated production. Its core advantages lie in environmental protection and energy saving. The fermentation process produces no secondary pollution, and the waste heat recovery system reduces energy consumption while simultaneously realizing the resource utilization of organic waste and reducing carbon emissions.
Today, driven by national policies, the application of organic fertilizer production lines is becoming increasingly widespread. They not only create stable income for farms and organic fertilizer plants, but also play an important role in improving soil structure and enhancing the quality of agricultural products. They have become an important link between ecological protection and agricultural production, helping agriculture to transform towards a green, low-carbon, and sustainable direction.
