The commonly used solid-liquid separation equipment for cow dung and urine includes inclined plate screen type, plate frame filter press type, vibrating screen type and centrifuge type. At present, the inclined plate screen solid-liquid separator is less and less used. It is characterized by high treatment capacity, but low removal rate of TS (total solid content), low output of separated feces and high water content, which is not conducive to later treatment. The plate and frame filter press type solid-liquid separator is suitable for the production process that requires high water content. Its treatment capacity is low and the removal rate of TS (total solid content) is high, but its filter screen is easy to be blocked. At present, centrifuges and vibrating screen solid-liquid separators are commonly used. All of them can basically meet the requirements for the later treatment of livestock and poultry feces, and the reliability is relatively high. In practical application, it is necessary to select appropriate solid-liquid separation equipment for mechanical fertilizer fermentation tank based on comprehensive consideration of the treatment environment, economic principle and requirements for post-treatment process of cow manure.
